Prior to forming neverwas., Terry completed a college course in Brantford, Ontario. And for a short period of time was a member of Mike's London band, The SuperProfessionals.

Having picked up the guitar 8 years ago and being self-taught, Terry has been influenced by many different bands and artists. Generally his style stems from the rock genre, he has also been influenced by Veruca Salt, Aerosmith, Fleetwood Mac and many others.

Terry uses a B.C. Rich Platinum Series guitar with analog distortion, through a Marshall 50 watt amp.
